Many couples wait to get pregnant until they are deep into their 30s. The problem is that by waiting it can be more challenging to actually get pregnant.
One important test to determine fertility is called: “Anti-mullarian hormone” (AMH). It counts how strong the ovarian reserve is. Patients with low AMH counts are considered infertile.
The good news is that experts are now saying these “doomed” patients may find help through alternative treatments like supplements.
Peyman Saadat, M.D., Medical Director of the Reproductive Fertility Center (RFC) in Beverly Hills, shares this:
“We have had success in pregnancies with patients who have had undetectable AMH on two different occasions.”
These advances happened “as recently as last month.”
